After 15 years of working in the fashion industry in NYC I decided to stop working to have a family.  After being a stay at home for 2 years with twin girls I was craving a new artistic outlet.  This led to the start of Adorned By K.

All of my pieces begin with someone else’s “trash”.  My artistic work is about giving a new life to old things.  In most of my work I take old furniture (and whatever else I find to be interesting), rip it apart, and create completely new designs. I then ADORN the pieces with tile, decorative wood, and other materials to produce an eclectic new product of home decor.
